Q: How do we get results?
A: First, we assess the scope of the project: Where do you want media coverage and exposure? What is your message? Then we will make honest recommendations geared to generate publicity that gets your message into the right hands and produces media placements.
Q: What is it that makes Brody PR so successful in handling the public relations of its clients?
A: We do a good job of listening. We try to pinpoint our clients’ target audience, determine their goals and objectives, and create a plan for getting positive media coverage for their products and services. We also offer our publicity services to advertising agencies that don’t have a PR department and act as their internal publicity arm.
Q: How big of a role does the Internet play in the public relations work itself?
A: The media has changed dramatically in the past 20 years. In large cities where there had been two major daily newspapers, now there may only be one. The remaining newspapers are much smaller in size, meaning much less content. However, the Internet has brought new opportunities for exposure. Most magazines and newspapers have an online presence and are actively seeking content. Blogging and having other bloggers write about you is another viable option for generating exposure. There is also a plethora of Internet radio stations and podcasts.
Q: How do you determine your fees?
A: We work with clients in two ways – on a project basis or on a monthly retainer. You’ll never be locked into an expensive contract. You decide how much you want to spend and we give you a proposal that fits within your budget.
Q: Why should I choose Brody PR?
A: Our clients have been with us for many years. They stay with us because we produce results. They attribute part of their success to our public relations support.
You should choose the agency that can best meet your needs. There are agencies that will assign your account to a large team of junior account executives at a large monthly retainer. And there’s Brody PR, a small boutique agency with experienced senior level executives personally handling your account.
Q: What types of clients do you serve?
A: We work with clients in a wide variety of industries – entertainment, the arts, publishing, b-to-b, b-to-c, non-profit, real estate, and healthcare. We’ve provided PR services to Dow Jones, Dun & Bradstreet, Merrill Lynch, Mercy Health, Nakashima Foundation, and others.
Q: How can we work together?
A: Please fill out the contact form. We’ll discuss your needs and expectations and give you an honest analysis. If we feel public relations will work to promote your products/services, we’ll make recommendations on the best ways to accomplish your goals.
