Beth
Brody has operated as an independent public
relations consultant in Central New Jersey since 1988. Assisting clients
both large and small, in industries as varied as high technology and health
care to entertainment and publishing, Brody's creative ideas and media
contacts have contributed to her success. She has provided public relations
services to The Wall Street Journal's WSJ.com, CareerJournal.com, Dun
& Bradstreet, Foundations Behavioral Health, Gramophone, Janssen Pharmaceutical,
JVC, MagWeb.com, Marquis Who's Who, Music Sales Corporation, National
Medical Enterprises, Rock Hill Press, T. Williams Consulting, and others.
She coordinated the launch of Futurestep, an alliance between CareerJournal.com
and Korn/Ferry International. Placements included The New York Times,
The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, Executive Recruiter
News, CNBC, The Industry Standard, The Economist, Ft. Worth Star Telegram,
Business News Network, Bloomberg Business Radio, etc. Among
her further accomplishments are: Coordinating publicity for the launch of the Dow Jones Business Center on America Online Managing a Dun & Bradstreet Business Migration Study which received national attention in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, etc. Creating publicity for electronic commerce agreements between IBM and Dun & Bradstreet Booking celebrity guests for the host of the Wall Street Journal Radio Network's "Work & Family" show Contracting Dr. Joyce Brothers to inaugurate Overlook Health System's new behavioral health center Originating $50,000 worth of publicity on a $5,000 budget for Westcliffe Publishers Launching a new name and image for Foundations Behavioral Health Writing a quarterly newsletter for 30,000 Dow Jones customers
Creating a generic press release for all Who's Who in America inductees. Brody serves on the board of directors of the NJ Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association and is currently serving as the President of the organization. She has spoken to numerous professional organizations, including the Public Relations Society of America, and the Cable Television Network of NJ. Brody earned a B.S. degree in Communications, Television and Radio and a minor in English from Ithaca College. |
